1. Must be 17 to 25 years old

2. Have a height between 157.48 cm and 187.96 cm
​
3. Bachelor’s degree (Having a degree in S (Science) T (Technology) E (Engineering) M (Mathematics) subjects can be highly advantageable)

4. Can enter Directly (Can apply directly when applications to become a fighter pilot opens)
​
5. Enter through ADFA (Defense Force Academy) (Australia) (Different militaries in Oceania have similar programs), which allows you to pursue a university degree while receiving military training.

6. Physically fit

Must be able to run a 2.4 Kilometer run

8. Theoretical Tests

Aptitude Test (Evaluates the candidates ability to work in various areas for critical flying and basic military service) (The examination contains numerical reasoning (Processing number patterns with ease), verbal reasoning (Hear or read information about a problem found, process that information found, form a theory about the situation, evaluate the outcomes), mechanical reasoning, and spatial awareness (Determine your body’s position relative to your surroundings)

Fighter Pilot Selection Test (Cognitive assessments (To see the general thinking of an individual or know as IQ) and Psychomotor skills (Movement that is associated with the individuals mental thinking)

9. Initial Flight training

Take the basics of flying

May take around 6 months to complete

Allows you to know the needed flying skills and basic airmanship (Using good judgment and skills to reach the objective of the flight)

10. Specialized Pilot Training

Teaches you advanced flying

Takes around 6 months to complete

You will learn how to preform advanced maneuvers, formation flying, and instrument flying (Flying, while practically relying on your instruments with limited visibility outside)

11. Once you have completed the training, you can then specialize in a specific aircraft you would like to fly or an operational role
